Since I moved from my family home to a big city, I have met a number of people who are struggling with the same problem like me: they do not feel like they belong, they feel lonely, alienated. At college, at parties, and while working on photography projects, I met a lot of people who confided in me and shared their stories. As people born in other places in the world, we often try to overcome cultural barriers such as language or traditions to become part of society and make up a place, we live in.

In this project, made together with Sputnik Photos, I try to create a portrait and a place of growing up between two nations. I want to tell a story that everyone can have access to and get to know at least a little about a topic that is my and many others' everyday life.
